Daytime Performer Bios
Gerry Roberts & Aubrey Stewart
Gerry Roberts is a beloved Irish performer at our festival and at many others. This year he will be Performing solo on the boat tour, and as a duo on the main stage with Aubrey Stewart. Aubrey is a talented musician native to Miramichi often found performing at local festivals.
Gary Cook
Born and raised in Miramichi he has been a long time music performer at local venues. This marks his second year at the festival, and hopefully more to come
Dram & a Draw
Dram & a Draw are a new face on the Irish Festival stage, but they will fit right in with their mixture of Celtic, folk and traditional tunes. This band's tight harmonies, driving rhythms, and infectious charisma invite audiences to sing, stomp, and raise a glass.
Rob & Katherine Currie
Rob and Katherine Currie are a father daughter duo from the Maritimes. Rob as been praised as “one of Canada’s finest song writers”. You won’t want to miss this talented pair
Frantically Atlantic
They’ve been on our main stage multiple times; we are happy to have Frantically Atlantic back with two performances. They'll be featured Friday and Saturday afternoon.
The Lamey Brothers
These four brothers have been performing for over 50 years! With experience playing a multitude of genres, Celtic and Maritime folk remain their favorite. It’s a pleasure to welcome them back on stage.
Nelson Doyle Dancers
The Nelson Doyle Dancers, instructed by Ellen Doyle, is a non-profit, volunteer organization in existence since 1991. The dancers consist of boys and girls, age five and up, who are instructed in traditional Irish dance. The Nelson Doyle Dancers have performed in Ireland, as well as many venues throughout the Maritimes.

Jesus Murphy
Joining the festival from Halifax, Nova Scotia, the band came to be on St. Patrick’s Day in 2009. Since then, this Celtic party band has been entertaining crowds across the Maritimes.
The Stanfields
The Stanfields are known for their powerful live performances. The band blends hard rock and Canadian folk music seamlessly. They have released several albums since coming together in 2008 and have taken home many awards for their musical talents.
The Town Pants
Originating from Vancouver BC, this band has toured around the world and performed thousands of shows. Renowned for their unique West Coast Celtic sound which is an intermix of Irish traditional, folk, rock, and roots Americana.
